Retroid Pocket Nova hype is real. Deservedly so. Retroid has consistently released high quality, budget-friendly, beautiful handhelds.
Their latest handheld is the Retroid Pocket Nova. It gathered 4:3 enthusiasts and bystanders alike. Like a moth to a 4:3 flame. No one's got a hold of the Nova yet as they are still on the pre-order phase, but the praises are already praising. It speaks highly of Retroid's reputation. A reputation they built for being consistent. There was once a blunder on their record but they, somehow, managed to turn it over.

Leaf - a custom firmware for the Miniloong Pocket 1 managed to make a colorway studio for the Nova. What's a custom firmware for an unrelated device got to do with the Nova? I don't even know. But they managed to catch our attention.
A user on reddit posted about this Nova Colorway Studio where we can customize our own Retroid Pocket Nova. It's smart and fun. It works because Retroid sells custom buttons. The sad part, though, is Retroid doesn't sell custom sticks and my favourite skittle buttons. Regardless, I had a good time designing my own Nova.
Retroid Pocket Nova Custom Colorways
Crystal Rainbow
This colorway I'd buy in a heartbeat.
Crystal with skittle buttons is my jam, really. A glacier colorway with skittle buttons is my top colorway. I believe no retro gaming handheld has ever come in glacier rainbow.
Crystal Rainbow V2
So close. Almost there.
Crystal Almost Glacier
It's not glacier but the closest.
This was fun.
Thank you, Leaf, for making this possible.
